HOD Dallas Lodge Shimon Peres hosted a Pickleball Tournament on September 22, 2024, at the Preston Playhouse, one block north of 635 and Preston to raise funds for Make-A-Wish.   

The day began with entrants either learning to play or tournament style doubles.  It was great to reach not only adults but the younger generation too.  The tournament culminated in a finals match at 12:45 with the winner being Make-A-wish. 

Thank you to  WB Lowell Michelson and Simcha Catering for not only being a sponsor but providing some great food as well. 

In the end, $3500 was raised and given to Emily , the Community Events Manager who was accompanied by our Wish kid , Brynne , who is now cancer free.
